  1. Being a diehard Ford guy Buick was the only GM product I really liked. Riviera,GS,Electra all cars I really would have wanted back in the day as they say…

    1. I too am a Ford guy. I was watching Street Outlaws last night and a car pulled to the line, my wife asked "is that a Grand National " man I love her.

  3. My mom had a '66 Cutlass Special convertible, white/black and it was the car I had my first 'solo' drive in at 16. That looks like a '64 Wildcat to me - man, those Buick Wildcats, they were plenty hot. The 'Super Wildcats' had big blocks with dual 4-barrel carbs if I recall.....

  6. A beautiful car, and just what a man needs to drive down a long stretch of highway on a hot summer day.

  7. My Dad had a '65 or '66 wildcat.....silver with a black vinyl top....I remember that elliptical steering wheel and the way that thing would get up and go....once made St. Pete to Daytona in an hour and a half.....of course the old man confiscated the keys as soon as I arrived.....it never occurred to me why he wanted me to call right before I left....17 year olds are sometimes fairly dumb....

  9. Yup, '64 Wildcat. My Dad had one just like this only silver. As others have said, that was one fast ride! 401 ci as I recall and front disc brakes. Fastest car I had ever driven up to that point and there have not been very many faster since then.

  10. Was an olds man myself, had a 66 toronado in high school, 1976, loved that beast. One of the best designs by olds. Looked like a rocket ship and went like one too. For a two ton beast was pretty quick. oh to be young again
