    1. Dunno about that- I know two guys (one farmer, one construction guy) who both carry the adjustable pliers for daily use. They're more "greasy-hands, steak-and-potatoes" guys.

    2. I have had my 2 pair of original, straight channel 10" Knipex for 25+ years. Continual but not daily use in Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm industry.
Have also had the same model# Klein tool pouch for 32+ years, the 5167. Prefer the older models in natural leather, the new are dyed black and have the tape holder in an awkward location. On my 4th one now, will have to e-bay for a 'new' one, probably.

  3. I have found the Felo ergonic screw drivers(with their "squishy" handles) to be excellent tools as I grow older and the hands more grizzled.
I have the Felo 9" LP, 8" Cutter and 8" chain nose also. All of my channel locks are Knipex though. I do wish they had kept making the classic channel lock vs keeping the same part# for the newer model with the longer curved channel.

  4. Hands down the best hand tools in the world. The Knipex slip joint pliers are incredibly versatile and can be used as both adjustable wrench or pipe wrench. Expensive, but will be heirloom tools you pass onto to your kids and grandkids.

    1. Agreed. I have a pair that open to 1.5 inches. Saves me hunting for wrenches often.
