And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That is one way to keep those Grandkids from putting their PBJ smeared fingers away from your equipment and LPs. Must have cats - hanging greens that high is a lot of extra work. Our four would turn those to a salad bar in a jiff.
Know a guy who worked at a college radio station in a western state. The station had a d.j. who'd played jazz for decades. That guy died and the college was going to just toss out hundreds of l.p.s the guy had collected and played. My friend volunteered to dispose of them for the college. They now take up an entire wall in his basement entertainment room. And he has the gear to play them as they deserve, ja shur ya' betcha!
That is some serious audio equipment.
