And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A Vought OS2U Kingfisher landing in a battleship’s wake to be recovered, circa late 1930’s.
There's one on the stern of the USS North Carolina in Wilmington. Have a look at one being shot off the steam catapult of the Detroit, manned by men usually no older than 22.
Maybe real, but it looks like a model airplane doing a landing. That was rough.
