Meanwhile - and this is not a joke - The mayor of Portland, Oregon, Ted Wheeler, announced that all city employees will receive 40 hours of bereavement leave to “grieve and reflect” over 400 years of black people being oppressed.
Wheeler went on to instruct managers and supervisors to adhere to his mandate “without question” and expressed hope that other cities across the country would follow his example and make the same move.
“We're witnessing a dramatic shift in our nation, one that is urgently charting the path forward for restorative justice, inclusion and understanding,” Wheeler continued. “I feel tremendous responsibility, as well as tremendous privilege, to be a part of this historic movement. Thank you for walking that path with me as we continue to serve the City of Portland.”
My thought: Just paid time off to riot and loot. Winning!

For me, it was when the "hate speech" thing got started. Even hate speech is clearly and unequivocally protected by the constitution, and should be, so those "laws" were illegal from the instant they were passed. When no one batted an eye, I raised an eyebrow, and now look at where we are!

ReplyDeleteI can't laugh at this evil anymore. These people are erasing Western Civilization and getting away with it. They've corrupted the education establishment, they've infiltrated government at all levels, and they're trying to create a hot war. Easy to say that they're LARPing revolution, but given the damage they're doing throughout the country and across the world, I can't see this as anything but a coordinated effort to topple the West.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to believe that they won't succeed, but none of them are hanging from lampposts or getting gunned down in the street as they deserve. We can't win just by laughing at them while they destroy all our statues and monuments and businesses and homes.
I don't see a resolution that doesn't involve blood.
