And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I have a Gerber tool that's almost the same as that one, the pliers don't have the needle nose. I like the way I can open it one handed. That was what I with me the day I brushed against the cactus and had to use pliers to get the splines out of my leg.
Gerbers are decent tools, but the sliding models can *pinch* the user when plier grip is closed. So some care is needed, lest a crop of blood blisters is wanted.
Durable and compact when stored, a nice feature when kept in a kit for just in case..
I have that exact one. I found it on a ranch in Langtry Texas. It was sitting for a while in the elements. I cleaned it up with Hoppes, and it looked like new. That coating is great.

ReplyDeleteI have a FISHERMAN and TWO others, all different types, BUT still slide outs.

I have had a couple of them and still carry one at work. A LOT of Torpedo Room issues have been "Fixed" with a Gerber Multi-Tool!
