Cold, damp, and the campsite better be above high tide line or there's going to be an unpleasant surprise during the night

  1. Looks like the Oregon coast. Wet wind will come rushing in during the night, blowing everything away, and then you get rolled over by a wayward log.

  2. That's just north of La Push, WA.

    That arch can only be used at low tide, and the tide was coming in when we went through it. Wet.

    It was the last leg of our coast hike from Ozette, and the only rainy day.

      Check out the large rock at Pescadero, CA. You walk out at low tide and fish through high tide to return at low. Plenty of Mussels and Mussel worms there.
