The 388th and 419th Fighter Wings that call Hill Air Force Base in Utah home have just executed a massive readiness drill that included an 'elephant walk' of a whopping 52 F-35As. The exercise coincides with the wings reaching full strength following the transition to the F-35A, a process that began years ago.


Ready to rumble.

    No, that was SAC's line. Although, it should have had an ' s ' on the end of Peace.

      SAC? At an airport bar I had a drunk B-52 pilot tell me about door to door nuclear power. This was a long time ago...

    real tactical wings have at least 75 fighters in them. counting 30% in periodic maintenance and another 30% NMCS for parts and yeah, sounds about right.
