And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Nice Brookie. Looks like it would run about 14", which up in the Grayling area of Michigan we'd consider a trophy Brookie. Appears to be in spawn colors.
Yes, not soon enough. I was in the garage looking at my canoe yesterday, then looking out at what snow remains. But February is not over and that might bring more snow. And sometimes there is snow in March.

ReplyDeleteHere in The Land of the Badgers, we get some real impressive snows in April. The melt in a couple of days, but they tend to leave 12"+.
