And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
i once spent a month converting a model of the USS ARIZONA, into a model of her sister, USS PENNSYLVANIA, in 1945, I basically rebuilt her from the main deck up, on 1/700 scale. The night I finished her, I sat at my workbench, gloating. Now all of you that have pets know that while they cannot speak, animals can clearly get their message across. i was sitting there, gloating, when lazarus, my Norwegian Forest Cat, hopped up on the work bench, batted the ship off of it, sat down, and said, " well, now what shall we do"?
Not the cat's fault. People who live with cats should know not to create such situations.
