And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Lotta wasted space there. Should use the wedge behind it for spare blades, etc. Can't see it, but I'd have countersunk some magnets into the plywood to hold the planes in those slots and on top with a tad bit more authority. Just saying.

I was going to say the same thing about magnets. Those, or a raised piece of wood for the nose to slip under.

I would have put in a recess for the blade on each plane. Laying them down like that is hard on the cutting edge of the blade.
