Most of that would be good in a bug out bag

  1. Notice the proper way to carry or have close by. Hammer back, safety on and hopefully one in the chamber.

  2. Makes me want to recreate the survival kit from "Dr. Strangelove." (Minus the rubles.)

  3. Hahahahaha!!! Ain't he cute, trying to be mini-me version of John Wick. However, I'm no better, i have a revolver & a couple rolls of nickels

  4. some gold Rand or British gold Sovereign would be better. but, paper money is lighter and would make a great fire starter if needed which gold would not. also, I would give up one of the pistols for ammo. Probably a mix of .45apc and 9mm. Got grenades? M-67 are great little problem solvers.

  6. If you REALLY need a BugOut bag you need to replace a large part of that cash with gold/silver as in many scenarios requiring bugging out fiat currency can become mere toilet paper overnight.

  7. THREE 1911's, OMG! Yes! But the cash you can keep, gimme silver and gold.

  8. Cash is easily spendable, Gold and silver not so much.

The time needed to convert it might not be available, and converting it leaves a trail.

    1. if you thought of gold and silver as barter goods, then you get the reason for gold and silver. SHTF time means there won't be any converting going on. you have metal, you get a deal.

    1. If I had what I wanted, I had have a couple "bricks" of each denomination. a roll or three of silver & gold, watches, clocks, scopes, keyed alike padlocks, pistols with interchangeable mags, iron rats, water purification kits, and the Sherpas to pack it all.

    2. llamas are better than sherpas. smarter too.

  10. Hey guys, it's a pretty picture. "Just the sort of thing you'd need for a fun weekend in Vegas."

And the basis for a "regulation" full up GOOD BOB. "Guns and money". Details to be determined.

"Send moola, mercs and Mausers! Dad, get me out of here."

    1. hundreds are good. have a problem child in your face in a bar? hold a hundred up in the air and advertise it as a reward for disciplining a problem child. works well. seen it done.

    2. Only on neutral ground.

Hold up a hundred in enemy territory, and everybody beats you down, and takes all your hundreds.

      Fork your own broncs.
Problem child gets in your face in a bar, leave the bar.
Or pull one of those .45 hoglegs, and go to work.

      True story.
