If that many guys can't stop the monster, she's been hanging out with a crowd of losers.

I like the symbolism of the white dress.  Innocence seized and carried away by the scaly beast.

  1. I identify with the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Does that mean that I have issues?

    1. Heh. LL, At least by ignoring the young men and snatching a hot woman he's demonstrating he's "straight". I can relate to that. However, I've never had Plaque Psoriasis so I can't relate to his scaly skin.

  2. Just saw that movie this past Saturday on Svengoolie. Had a young lab tech in it played by Clint Eastwood...............

  3. Had that happen in the South, the men would have corralled the Creature and they would have catfish dinners for a week...

  4. Actually, it did happen in the South, the filming of it anyway. They filmed a lot of it in the Cypress swamps of Caddo Lake in East Texas.

  5. I don't know, man... an unescorted woman in a bamboo bar with a (GASP!) evil jukebox playing, no doubt, that scandalous boogie-woogie rock and rollish music, and (GASP!) smoking goin' on... she doesn't seem all that "innocent" to me. Just sayin'....

  6. Forgot to mention, there was also the Creature from the Black Studies Program that caused quite a ruckus too back in the day.

  7. In "The Shape of Water" the gal stole the fish-man creature. That tied the score at 1/1.
