And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It looks a lot like my ToyYoda FJC. It's not, but it could be. A friend from Canada called yesterday to wish me a Merry Christmas and asked if I still had the FJ (now 14 years old). I told him that I did, that it was still running strong and that I had no plans to get rid of it - that I'd likely have it until I died. They're good rigs.
I sure like mine. With the added lower vestibule, and my Heater Buddy, the tent stays toasty warm in the winter. So much so, I can't sleep inside my sleeping bag on the memory foam mattress.
A guy drove around the world (he took a Toyota) and used one of those roof top tents, he did a blog. I remember the picture of it parked and set up on a sidewalk in Bangladesh.
Up is generally good. Though after a long day I'd hate to have to climb that ladder.
ReplyDeleteGetting up for that midnight pizz, gonna be fun!

ReplyDeleteThe Aussies who go into the outback love these things. The height makes it possible to sleep alone, without venomous snakes and spiders joining you.
