And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

5000th F-4 - I wonder what the total production number was?
I remember as a kid my Dad would take me to the base when he went to the PX (107th FIG Natl Guard). We would park at the end of the runway so they flew right overhead whdn coming back from their morning practice sorties. Rattled my teeth.. I can still smell the JP4, and that lovely brown smoke as they lit the afterburners heading out for the afternoon session....
