  2. Your whole body vibrates. I worked night shift, F8 squadron, and we would assist the jet mechanics with high power tests. Pull the tail, I think it was a 9 point chain tie down, then bring the engine up to 100%. Various things were monitored, like input, output temps. I don't think the afterburner was triggered (it was a long time ago). But, at night, the flames were there.

  5. I was a F14 Tomcat TF30 and F110 Jet Engine Low and High Power Qualified turn operator. Full Military Power then go into Dual Afterburners, Loud, yes. That's the sound of Freedom...
