And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I don't know. I don't see how the F-84 fits in, and they're missing the F-104, F-105, and F-106. It'd be cool if they could've gotten the F-107 in, too, though that lost the competition to the F-105. You could see it was a descendant of the F-100 Super Saber. I would hope it would've been nicknamed the Super-Duper Saber, ignoring whatever name the brass decided on.
F-103 and F-108 never got past mockup stage, F-109 never got that far. But the F-110 Specter got renamed the F-4 Phantom II, and the F-111 did fly, so those two Century fighters should also be included, even if the actual fighter variants of the F-111 were opium dreams.
My old unit -178 FIS Happy Hooligans leading the pack in the 101 !
