NOT a smart product - at all.

It's incredible to me that adults, somewhere, thought a "smart" lightbulb was a good idea.

  1. New reset procedure: Turn off lightbulb, unscrew lightbulb from socket, throw lightbulb in garbage, replace with non-smart lightbulb.

  2. All you really need is a tabletop and a hammer. "Smart" does not mean what they want you to think it means.

  3. I was waiting for the hammer.

  5. These are the kind of monotonous procedures that computers excel at, but people find mind-numbing - esp. when presented as a video.
The new procedure appears to be simpler to remember and perform: Turn on light for 8s, turn off for 2s. Repeat until light resets.
The old procedure had a pattern of 8s and 2s “on” times that had to be followed, making it more difficult to execute.
