And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

While packing some books yesterday, I came across this
Since Lassen is clearly visible from the mailbox in front of our house, I showed this to Mrs. CW.
Lived in Redding during the 70's. We were a camping family and Lassen was a destination every summer. Have tons ago great memories and great adventures. We had a book that was quite similar. Might have to ask my mom if dad kept the book.
You'll be fine with the sleeping mtn, it's the state of the state I'd be worrying about.
