I remember seeing the same thing as a kid, fishing out of Port O'Connor Tx. 3 waterspouts and a line of thunderstorms coming while we're easily an hours ride from the boat dock. And we were catching fish like crazy. Every single cast brought in a speckled trout. We'd flip it on the deck and immediately cast out again. That's the day I learned to cast side-arm in order to keep the pole as low to the water as possible. Fun times.
Cancel my ticket to Torshavn today. I’m not ready to meet Odin.
