And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Collings Foundation "909". I have been for a ride in that ship over Chico, CA. Also got to sit a visit with a navigator who flew two of his missions in the original 909.
Sadly, from what I hear, Chico is also in need of the remedy suggested above, and for the same reasons.
We need a B-29 instead to fly over and drop a copy of "Little Boy" on that hell hole..........
