Gas in Nevada is 50 to 60 cents a gallon less than in Kommie-fornia

So, naturally, I filled the big black Dodge with that sweet, delicious Nevada state fuel.

  1. It is interesting that gas in Arizona is 50 cents cheaper than Nevada most places. California gas taxes must be through the roof! I will buy gas here in Laughlin and get 10 bucks worth. I fill up across the river in Bullhead City Arizona.

  2. Before hurricane Harvey hit the refineries in the Houston area the price for a gallon of regular here in Western NC was about $2.30. 4 days Harvey they jumped to $2.65 with a promise once thanks were back to "normal" they would return to $2.30. It's been about 3 months and the price is still about $2.50, proving what goes up doesn't necessarily come down.

    1. That's the obvious tax. The others come due in April 15 or are buried in other excise taxes attached to things like your electric bill.
