And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Fairey Albacore on the deck of HMS Formidable
Odd name for an airplane, especially a military aircraft.
Albacore was a great improvement on the Swordfish (another odd plane name) with its enclosed cockpit and dive bombing ability, but the Swordfish outlasted the Albacore in service. One odd job Albacores had, IIRC, they dropped something like 12,000 flares over the desert during the battles for El Alemein. That looks to be HMS Malaya in the background; her near sister Barham had a tripod main mast, while Malaya had a pole mast, and that appears to be a pole mast
