And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I call photoshopped! The control surfaces are mostly gone and there doesn't seem to be enough airfoil to give that thing lift. Oh and the remaining control surface is set for a hard "roll" Even with the engine still intact that thing would be a goner. AND: How the hell did the gunner survive that many explosive cannon shell hits? He should look like he jumped into a wood chipper. Russian gunners didn't get armor, only the pilot. Under an undamaged canopy. OH! and all the shell holes are smooth, not ragged like they should be. Cute but bullshit IMO.---Ray
The Sturmovik was the WW2 version of the Warthog. The pilot sat in a metal tractor seat in some of them - when they ran out of actual aircraft seats.
ReplyDeleteThe Flying Tank - indeed.
ReplyDeletethat pilot needs a better gunner! he hasn't even made it to german airspace yet...
