A Highland Coo and her calf wandering down an empty road, Argyll and the Isles, Scotland.
I lived in the land of the Heeland Coo for quite some time and yes, they are cool. The land itself has that 'ancient' feel about it and I can't put it into words, but I enjoyed the experience.
Ancient is a good description of the feel. We visited our ancestral clan castle, Caerlaverock, and I remember telling my daughter that when Columbus discovered America that castle was 250 years old!

ReplyDeleteHaving lived on the Mainland British Isles for a number of years I can say I prefer the North Carolina winters.
