And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Friday Open Road
Or the art of the escape, put up a bit early, since I'll have to be on the road again early tomorrow morning.
I have been abord that boat on pic number 5. It is called "Dagmar Aaen" and it is an old Danish vessel, now in use by a German gentleman called Arved Fuchs. He sails around the world in it. I've been on a short visit on "Dagmar Aaen" back in the winter of 2010 when the boat was overwintering near Upernavik in Greenland. Look up "Dagmar Aaen" on tumbler, and you will find this very photo. (I believe this specific photo was taken in Norway.) This is the second time that C.W posts a picture of a place where I've been. Small world! /RAF
Have fun on that open road.
