And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I know from close observation back when that these things didn't go very far before running out of fuel. Most of them ended up sinking. In the early days if crews (and passengers) abandoned ship, they ended up in the gulag for re-education as a face-saving measure. Ah, the worker's paradise.
I saw an episode recently of Top Gear. Jeremy was chatting the Star in their affordable car who mentioned that he owned a hovercraft. Jeremy quickly pointed out that, wasn't it true, if you drive a hovercraft and you see an object anywhere in front of you that you're going to hit it? In my experience, yes. I like the name of thing though, the Crash-No. :)
