This ought to make you feel really safe and cozy.

The IRS, that bastion of honor, self sacrifice, and hard work, is in the process of arming itself with 12 gauge shotguns.

If there was ever an argument for the elimination of a government agency, I think that this would be it. As soon as they try to go paramilitary, then they should be immediately disbanded and replaced by people more respectful of their proper place in American society.  Isn't the FBI, CIA or local sheriffs good enough for enforcement?  On the other hand, given the abuse the IRS has heaped upon the American people lately, maybe they are justified in being a bit afraid of their neighbors and friends.

  1. Try to go military" They have had ARMED 'enforcement' agents for about as long as I can remember. Pretty 'cheeky' for a 'collection agency' I'd say. Problem is, they have gotten away with it for so long that everyone now thinks it is normal policy/procedure.
