  1. There's no bang if she pulls the trigger. Ask a black powder guy why. So, a short career.

    1. Smoke curling out of the muzzle, so supposedly it's just been fired. Except the hammer isn't fully forward, she could have pulled the hammer back to half cock after firing but why is she dilly dallying.

    2. If she pulled the trigger with the gun sticking up like that, the powder fell out of the pan before the spark could ignite the main charge, I’m betting.

  2. Artists of the day weren't weapon experts.

Look at her cutlass (sword) and ask yourself how she's draw it quickly.

And as usual ghost you confuse your fears with reality.

No trannys back then. Homosexuals perhaps but they had to be hidden or damn tough to survive in a world that doesn't protect them like current America-Europe.

    1. It is my understanding that many, if not most, sailors back in the day of sailing ships were butt f*ckers. When they got home to their wives, it was back to being hetro.

    2. This drawing is one of a collection of pirate drawings being used for commercial purposes by Etsy.
The "Artists of the day" that you mention might well have done this work a month ago.
The gun still isn't going to fire.
