Yep. There's bolts through the join so there's a notch in the angle pieces to clear a full width section of stud which makes the join even better than it looks from this angle. I suspect no power tools were used in creating this art work.

ReplyDeleteDepends. A picture at right angle would show the thickness and if the there is a large uncut notch in the center of the standing beam.
