And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

my Mom met her in 44 or 45 , I not sure anymore. but she said she was without a doubt one of the smartest women she ever met. Mom was working for the war Dept. doing some translating work or something like that. she got to meet a lot of now famous people back then. she was as my Dad used to say a tall leggy redhead. then too she said "if my Dad knew how much money they had in the bank, he fall off the couch " Mom managed the money Dad made. and they where very well off before they passed on.
She was a genius. The personal tattle tale device in your pocket would be impossible with out her invention of frequency skipping.

I feel so sorry for those of the Jewish faith who had to leave their birthplaces in order to flee Hitler's insanity.
