And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The year of the gunsight hood ornament & L&R option for raising the hood. In many ways, '49 was an evolutionary year for GM & Ford. Not so much Chrysler. Product line makes for an almost impossible wish-list but dearly love a '49 Cadillac with "sombrero" hubcaps.
What Anon at 4:40 is undoubtedly referring to is two instances; one in 2009 another in 2011 in which the US Fish and Wildlife Services raided Gibson's guitar factories and accused Gibson of using/trafficking in Madagascar ebony and Indian rosewood which were illegal for importation and use at least at that time.
It's probably illegal to harvest that wood now. Ask the guitar company.
