And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I assure you, the Revolutionary Soldiers were NOT equipped as shown. Or fed. Or housed. They were lucky to have shoes occasionally. Going days without eating. Having to steal anything edible to survive. Yet, the vast majority of them were dedicated to the destruction of the english, as they were a hateful bunch. We should thank God for them, daily.
Anon might very well have a Doctorate in American History. I don't but I am a dedicated blackpowder shooter and I can't figure out what kind of weapon(?) he's dragging along the ground. Those boots look more like 20th century than 18th. So my guess is AI? How about a few re-enactors chiming in?
