And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thats a F-4, if I'm not mistaken. A little research at Wiki tells me that the 82d Aerial Targets Squadron was the last US unit to fly the Phantom. Back in the ancient times, between my Junior and Senior years of college, I lucked into a ride in the back seat of a F-4 at Nellis AFB over the Red Flag range when I was at a program called "Third Lieutenant". Somewhere in my archives I think I still have the gun camera film, if it hasn't turned to dust. Don't ask me how it went.....I didn't have a clue.
