got a kitten for the kids after the divorce. he thought that Jack, my old hunting dog was his dad/mom/who knows. first night he tried to cuddle up to Jack. Jack must have moved 30 times or more. in the end, old Jack gave up. and let the kitten sleep with him. after that the kitten followed him everywhere too. refused to use a litter box. NO, he had to go outside with jack and go there. kind of funny to watch really, 2-4 pound cat following a 110 pound dog around. problem was he thought all dogs where like jack. didn't work out so well for him in the end as some stray neighborhood dogs ripped him up one day. I found the dogs that did it, it didn't go well for them either. at least it was quick. and then I had to deal with my kids who saw it happened.
