  2. I walked the roadway (partially, less than one half) of the bridge at 50th anniversary event, it was "slightly" more crowded...

    1. I crossed from the Marin side with friends, when we decided to head back the bridge was full of people, end to end, handrail to handrail. What a day.

  3. I've flown under it a few times in a helicopter, I watched for jumpers. We were taking batteries out to Mile Rock.

  4. Used to live at 11th and California. A morning run across the gate and back was a wonderful workout.

  5. One of the best pieces of early bridge film was in a movie was with William Powell and Myrna Loy, being pulled over for speeding. I think it was "After the Thin Man".
