And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I've noticed that a lot of sixguns in old Western movies are missing the front sight. Can't imagine why. Somebody's idea of "cool"? On the other hand, a friend of mine (not a gun person) said that the first thing one should do, when a new gun is acquired, is to file the front sight off. Otherwise, it will really hurt when the bad guy takes it from you and . . .
Grips ar called oyster but referred to as black pearl. They are man made not from a horn. You can get a set for a Ruger for about $35 on Amazon. There pretty for a .22 or 38 but I keep with over moulded Pacmyers for a .44 mag
Wow that’s nice!
ReplyDeleteAnyone know what those grips are? Steve_in_Ottawa
ReplyDeleteI wondered that too. My guess is cow horn.
