And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The champagne glass is smaller, it wouldn't fit. Somebody ought to make a commemorative champagne glass that is right-sized. I don't remember seeing her smoke in any of her movies.
I recall seeing all the movies with Sellers (and most of the ones with Sophia that were permissible for the younger kids). Being overseas in my yoot had advantages, all the European stuff arrived almost instantly at the local neighborhood movie theater. Still, Peter had a mad skill for deadpan delivery of outrageous statements, would love to know what he said to Sophia there.
