And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
One of the best pieces of early bridge film was in a movie was with William Powell and Myrna Loy, being pulled over for speeding. I think it was "After the Thin Man".
A really great walk, should anyone get the chance. Might want to stick to the sidewalks tho.

ReplyDeleteI crossed from the Marin side with friends, when we decided to head back the bridge was full of people, end to end, handrail to handrail. What a day.

ReplyDeleteI've flown under it a few times in a helicopter, I watched for jumpers. We were taking batteries out to Mile Rock.
