  1. I need eye bleach after seeing this garbage right after my breakfast.

  2. Okay, so, . . . what are we looking at here? Is this an expensive breakfast, at a fancy hotel (with an important chef, instructing about the, "presentation")?

  3. And what is that other thing? Is it a piece of meat? Is it a chunk of bread (why would you have a section of lemon next to it)?

  4. The smelt run is on in Washington and Oregon, ten pound daily limit. Mmm good.

  5. Sardines are in the top ten most healthy foods on earth. High in protein, calcium, potassium and more. Too bad I can't stand them.

  6. That's one of the Spanish "tapas", namely "boquerones en aceite", or anchovies in (usually olive) oil in English. Tapas is a traditional afternoon snack in Spain, where people eat dinner somewhere around 9pm or even later. Tapas is usually served with a glass of wine, so trying the "boquerones en aceite" with dark bread, a splash of lemon juice over them and a glass of Tempranillo is not a bad thing at all!

  7. Way too fancy. Everyone knows sardines are best enjoyed straight out of the can whilst sitting in your recliner in sweatpants. Ambiance is everything.
