Classic Disaster. I like the poor guy running along trying to figure a way to stop it.

    2. My 2006 Civic is starting to look the same. Must have replaced the headlight assembly as those typically cloud over as well.

    3. I had a black 2009 Civic that did the same thing. It's more common on dark colors.

  2. it looks like a VW camper van, no big lost really, EX wife wanted one and I hated the damn thing. only good thing was the engine "sucked a valve" and I got to replace it with a engine from a 914 and then I got out of it onw way !

    1. Probably the #3 cylinder exhaust valve, which always runs hotter because cooling air is slightly reduced by the oil cooler. You want to run a larger valve clearance on that one.

    3. I worked with a wonderful old gentleman when I was kid who owned a VW pickup and a VW bus. We worked at a Chevron station and every thousand miles the VWs were up on the rack for an oil change, a screen cleaning and a valve adjustment. He never had a problem with either rig and they both always purred like kittens.

With eight kids and a wife that stayed at home watching them, Paul took care of what he owned. He had to in order to feed all those mouths on his gas station salary. He was quite a guy

    4. That's a COMMERCIAL TRAILER. It's disconnected from the air source (truck/tractor) and the brakes should be set tight on the trailer. Air pressure holds the spring brake open....
Something fishy with the entire thing.

  6. Looks like a goose neck trailer, so electric brakes? Not sure if there _is_ a parking brake on those. Likely relying on dolly friction to keep it in one place, which works A-OK, until you back the load behind the axles, and take all the weight off said dollies, on a hill... Hilarity ensues.
