  1. One of the few times I think a 'set' is a good idea. Mostly, these all-of-everything kits have dozens of useless pieces and a couple you need. For socket and wrench purchases, buy a set if you can afford it. You'll eventually use most of 'em, and it is usually cheaper. Not sure that DeWalt is a good choice as there is probably a brand premium. I'd buy Kobalt or Harbor Freight new for a value/quality option, or hit garage sales for old USA made SK, Craftsman, Williams, etc- though there's an unjustified premium for USA Craftsman, too, that can be ridiculous.

  2. I won a similar set by Crescent many years back that has been mighty handy at times.
