I saw triplets in the woods once, back in the '80s. It was on the Bowman Lake Road between Nevada City and Truckee, California. It was the first and only time I've ever seen triplets.

I feed 8 - 12 deer corn and stock feed out on my driveway every night all winter. They stand out there waiting for me. In the spring they feed out in the hay fields and woods but in the late fall they come back when the snow gets deep.---ken
Not much meat on them, about 20lbs at best, tenderloin medallions size of a half dollar, it's super tender, tastes far better than the finest veal imaginable.

ReplyDeleteThey also bring Lyme disease.
Lyme disease travels on the deer tick. Not the deer.
