  2. Very nice work. Odd how a craft to reuse scraps from worn out clothing evolved into cutting up new fabric to resew them into scrap looking patterns.

  7. My wife also cuts big pieces of fabric into smaller pieces of fabric in order to sew the smaller pieces of fabric into big pieces of fabric.

    Some call it art, I think it more an obsession!

  13. Very nice! Hope she stiches up a label with her name and date sewn on the inside. So future generations know who made it.

  14. My wife quilts. I design and make stuff. As a result we have a small line of our own quilters accessories that we sell on-line. It provides a nice modest side income. We don't push it much. Word of mouth gives us about all the work I can handle in my "golden" years. Or more accurately, my pot metal years. ;^)
