  1. I'll go with the obvious: "lucky dog..."

    1. Every dog is a love story that ends in grief.

Yesterday marks the 4 month mark since my Shannon died.
Her memory remains intense, and my dog loneliness grows as well.

    2. Condolences, Ghost.
What will most likely be my last dog in this life just turned 3, and he's the best.
Don't know what I'd do without him.
      He's just a joy.

  4. With rents rising, housing becoming unaffordable, and wages not rising either, more Millenials and Gen Zers are living out of their vehicles like this poor lady. Be sure to tip your baristas and food delivery people well! If they're cold and hungry, you know their dogs are too!

    1. Two things that have totally f*cked up today's housing market:

      1. Huge corporations spent massive amounts of money buying up single family homes when the Obama "Great Recession" happened. They are now renting those "starter" homes.

      2. Young couples starting out don't want what I call a traditional starter home. That is, the small homes with two bedrooms and a single bathroom that are 1,000+ sq. feet. They want mini-mansions and cannot afford them.

    2. Great Recession started in 2008, well before Obama was even elected.

Mostly caused by irresponsible lax lending policies that began in 2004 and led to a burst of the real estate bubble.

    3. John, you nailed it right on the head. New buyers all want 2500 square foot starter houses. Ain't gonna happen. Here in Ottawa we had Veterans housing just after the War and they were probably around 900 square feet and folks raised happy and productive families in those homes. Steve_in_Ottawa

    4. Those veterans houses often were incomplete. Just a finished kitchen with plain cupboards, a three piece bathroom and a bedroom. The rest of the house was unfinished. The owner finished the rest of the house when time and money allowed. Nothing was done or bought on credit maybe on lay away. Needless to say there was no media room, no granite countertops and no ensuites for each kid. A starter house in Montreal or Toronto would have cost $7000. Now that same house but gussied up would sell for over million dollars. After the war, dollars were worth something and weren’t deflated Monopoly money. In the 50’s and 60’s the Canadian dollar was worth more than the American dollar. Today we have 70 cent dollars thanks to our retarded Lieberal government that is digging our graves deeper. At least we have legal pot and Medically Assisted Murder. Can’t wait soon enough for the 101 Airborne to parachute into Ottawa and take the place over

  6. I was at a conference in Minneapolis the week of Obama’s annointment. At the conference Center foreclosed homes were being auctioned. Peeking it just like a high speed rapid fire cattle sale. With bang of a hammer, teary eyed former owners left the room knowing that their home had sold for pennies on the dollar. There was a listings book as thick as a New York phone book. It was really sad to see.

  8. With regard to the Obama "Great Recession" ... Nobama did more to purposely f*ck us than any other elected official in the history of this once great nation.
