  1. Always were displayed as welders, riveters, and typists, etc. But they also flew completed aircrafts from factories here, over to bases in Europe.

  2. Just compare what is being taught in our school system to young developing minds compared to those days.

  4. Women were women back then, no he/she pronouns etc, did jobs meant for men and then when the men came back from war they were let go so the men could work. Women held this nation together, made the equipment the soldiers needed. People gave up pots, pans and what was needed to see that the soldiers could have what they needed on the battlefield. The younger generation would not know what to do if we ever had WW3, they are clueless.

    1. There will be nothing to do if we have a WW3.

After WW2 the world agreed that we couldn't have a WW3. Unfortunately over 80 years people have forgotten those lessons and now we are back doing the same things that took us to WW2. Countries are taking land from other countries, racial/ethinic/religious tensions in many parts of the world, stealing other countries natural resources.

These are all putting us on the path to a ww3. The good news is that WW3 will be VERY short. No more than one day long. After that there will be no need for welders or collecting pots and pans

  5. Love the styles woman enjoyed in the 40's. Quintessential divine feminine. It is a whole era. They just had a certain all woman sexiness thats timeless.

  7. Ahhh the good old times. When women knew their place and had to get their husband's permission to open a bank account, wife beatings were a fact of life, sexual harassment was as common as grass and depression was treated with valium and alcohol
