  2. That number reminds me of my college class's motto. Before I joined the US Marine Corps after my college freshman year, my original college graduation would have been 1969.

  3. The 375 had beautifully sculpted lines, the engine was awesome, and it was a serious competitor when driven by Shelby, Gurney, and Miles. For 1955, I prefer the Jaguar D-Type which had even (IMO) better lines and was also a fierce competitor driven by Mike Hawthorne and Ivor Bueb. The classic era of factory teams creating stunning vehicles. What a ride, literally and figuratively.
