  4. They were smart like Ford. Put the distributor in the front so you can get to it instead of hiding it behind the carb.

  5. I once owned a '50's Jeep Wagoneer. It had a powerful streight 6. I don't remember them coming with V-8's.

  6. Too bad cars today aren't built like that. Simple, basic, and goes and goes and goes if maintained. Bought a new car and the maintenance required for it is unreal.

  7. Chrome tilt steering column indicates an upgrade/rebuild. Looks very, very well done. Utilitarian not fancy.

  8. I had an uncle that had one of those. I don't recall the year model but it had a strait 6 that I helped remove and install on a rebuild.
