And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Too bad cars today aren't built like that. Simple, basic, and goes and goes and goes if maintained. Bought a new car and the maintenance required for it is unreal.

ReplyDeleteI once owned a '50's Jeep Wagoneer. It had a powerful streight 6. I don't remember them coming with V-8's.

ReplyDeleteChrome tilt steering column indicates an upgrade/rebuild. Looks very, very well done. Utilitarian not fancy.
ReplyDeleteI had an uncle that had one of those. I don't recall the year model but it had a strait 6 that I helped remove and install on a rebuild.
