And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If I ever forget to bend back and fold the tape over after a use, I find that if I put the tape roll in the sunlight for an hour or so, it is a lot easier to find the end and unroll it.
There was an eye surgeon on Dragon's Den in the UK recently (US version is Shark Tank) who had the idea of using a black cardboard reel instead of white as the former for the roll of tape. The end of the tape is then clearly and instantly visible. No one else seemed to like the idea, thinking that people wouldn't realise it was clear tape!

ReplyDeleteAfter enough years, finally got into the habit of folding over any and all tape. No longers a problem.
