And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Dunno why I like these window heavy flat roofed houses. This one would be an oven in the summertime, I'd think.
If the windows are on the north side of residence, that would greatly reduce the solar gain from full sun during the summer. The cold from winter will cause some heat loss.
And if it ever snows a lot, the roof could very well cave in or warp the house's walls.

ReplyDeleteI see solar panels mounted flat on the roof, so snow must be an occasional thing. Rain too as there doesn't appear to be any scuppers.
